Bicolandia – Day 3 Naga City

Just like the previous mornings we all woke early. There’s so many of us who’ll again take turns in using the bathroom. We only have half of the day to tour Naga City. Our agenda were just two anyway, Naga City Market and the Penafrancia Shrine. Bear with the photos, pix were from my phone. 😀

buffet breakfast

We all enjoyed breakfast in Moraville Hotel. Its a selection of Bicol’s delicacy, traditional breakfast we Filipinos were used to, fruits and juices.

We all have different agenda in Naga City Market. Different pasalubong and stuff to buy. We decided to split into groups to save time and agreed to meet at the hotel on a specific time.

Bicol I must say is one of the provinces with the best products to offer. From food, agricultural to native bags and accessories. I enjoyed walking around the market. You’ll get things cheaper than its usual prices, just learn to haggle. Just be nice and they’ll give in. Haha.

photo opt at the hotel lobby before leaving

We left before lunch. Stop-over in Petron to gas up. Weather is pretty hot. While waiting we bought ice cream in the gas station convenience store.

Another stop over. Can’t help to stop when we saw that big fish signage of Gumaca Quezon. We already passed that signage but we requested our driver to go back for another photo opt. Haha 😀

We had lunch in Quezon, if I remember it right its in Jollibee Sariaya Quezon branch. After that we continue to travel.

  • try visiting CWC
  • try dining at Biggs Diner restaurant
  • try Bicol’s famous delicacy Bicol Express
  • don’t forget to buy Bicol’s Pili Nut
  • visit Naga City Public Maket for cheap but great finds and nice pasalubong
